Essential Qualifications:
•BCCNM Registration: Must be a Registered Licensed Practical Nurse and in good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
•Current Certifications: Possess a current CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid Certificate.
•Electronic Documentation Proficiency: Competent in using electronic documentation systems, including eMar (electronic medication administration record) and PointClickCare.
•Language Fluency: Fluent in English, both verbal and written, to ensure clear communication with residents, families, and the care team.
•Critical Thinking Skills: Demonstrate strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
•Proof of Vaccination: Provide proof of vaccination as required by healthcare regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Long Term Care Experience: Previous experience in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.

•Documentation: Maintain precise and up-to-date electronic documentation using systems like PointClickCare and complete MDS Assessments.
•Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Liaise effectively with physicians, resident families, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
•Delegation and Supervision: Responsibly delegate tasks to unregulated care providers and provide appropriate supervision.
•Care Conferences: Actively participate in Care Conferences and Medication Reviews to discuss resident progress and adjust care strategies as needed.
